Depending on your tastes and needs as a couple, you can also opt for The Manor House. It has five artistic and stylish rooms – two luxury rooms, two classic rooms and a standard room, each with an en-suite bathroom.
It’s not unusual nowadays for romantic couples to travel as a group. If you are such a group, The Country House can accommodate up to 10 guests. It offers classic country-style living in five luxurious double bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom and access to a veranda with magnificent views of the valley, forest and mountains.
Amenities in all the units include King-size and Queen-size beds, TVs with DStv, bar fridges and en-suite bathrooms. Breakfasts and romantic dinners can also be booked in the Manor House Restaurant.
For couples seeking the ultimate outdoor escape, The Tented Chalet is a good idea. The Honeymoon Tented Chalet comes with an en-suite bathroom, kitchenette and seating deck with stunning views of the mountains, lake and valley.
There are also one-bedroom Luxury Nature Cabins, which you will find hidden within a valley on the edge of a mountain stream. Amenities include King-size beds, en-suite bathrooms, a wood fireplace, a kitchen fitted with a bar fridge, microwave, cutlery and crockery for two. The cabins also have covered front decks overlooking forest and river fitted with a dining table, deck chairs and gas braai.

Guest facilities include secure, free parking for vehicles, a restaurant and wedding facilities. There is no venue charge at the estate, but any potential organisers need to contact the team to arrange.
Activities in Stoffberg / Dullstroom area
There is plenty to do during your visit. The lodge is located close to local dams, which have many water activities including fly-fishing. Non-fishing guests will still appreciate the tranquillity and natural beauty of the setting.
Other activities include hiking trails, walks; birdwatching; the Witpoort Watermill; local archaeological sites; MTB trails; forest picnics and photography among other couple friendly activities.
