The South African Animal Sanctuary Alliance (SAASA) is a Public Benefit Organization (PBO 2000/000667/08) and a Non-Profit Organization (NPO 008-464), operating under Section 21 of the Companies Act. Our primary mission is to improve the lives of captive primates, birds, and other wildlife by relocating them to spacious, free-roaming sanctuaries that closely replicate their natural environments. SAASA is also a strong advocate for the #HandsOffOurWildlife campaign, actively fighting for animal rights in tourism and - we oppose wildlife exploitation.
