The Tsitsikamma Woodcutters Journey follows an ancient elephant migratory route in a specially designed vehicle, passing indigenous trees and the remarkable 450- to 500-year-old “Human-like Tree”, also known as the “Forest Guard”. Alternatively, guided hikes range from 2km to 11.2km, with selected routes offering opportunities to picnic and swim in the Storms River while discovering more about the surrounding landscape.
You can also turn your adventure into a longer Garden Route getaway by staying at Forest Nest Cottage. This self-catering accommodation sits at the edge of the Tsitsikamma forest in Stormsriver Village, providing a convenient base for exploring the area’s outdoor attractions.
