For the bride the moment the engagement ring goes on your finger start preparing your body for your big day.  If you would like to lose weight start on an exercise routine and engage the services of a dietician rather than go on an unhealthy crash diet.  You are what you eat so you will look and feel healthier.

Keep your skin  healthy with regular cleansing, toning and moisturising, as well as an exfoliation twice a week to remove blackheads and dead skin cells.

Unwanted hair can be removed by laser but this needs to be done several months beforehand so that your skin can get smooth and back to normal in time. Waxing or hair removal cream is another alternative but also needs to be done a few days before so that there are no red blotches.

Visit your hairdresser to try out the style that you choose and how your veil, if you are wearing one, will be attached.  Also have a makeup trial some weeks beforehand so that you know what will look best for the time of day and style of your wedding.

Hands are all important to show off your new rings so a manicure and pedicure will have your hands and feet looking good.

For the groom.  Choose a classic haircut that will stand the test of time.  You may want a fashionable cut at the time, but photos last a life time and fashion not.   A haircut a week or so beforehand will have time to settle.  Get your barber to trim any wild eyebrows or nose hairs.

Many grooms will already be familiar with cleansers, moisturisers and hair products and even manicures.  For others a shower and a shave will be as far as they will go. Whatever your choice you want to look your best for your bride.
