If you are looking for a ring that reflects your personality and is truly South African, then look no further than WoodDo.
WoodDo is a small business, which arose out of the Covid pandemic when many careers were put on hold. Putting their skills and creative talents together husband and wife team, Awie and Martie Potgieter started designing and making jewellery.
With Awie’s background as a metallurgical engineer and Martie’s hobby of working with wood, this creative couple started making rings with a distinct South African twist.
Rings by WoodDo
These elegant and bespoke rings are hand crafted and made from premium stainless steel inlaid with wood, stone, horn or tusk.
There are a host of different styles and colours to choose from. The wood inlays used are all African hard wood – Zebrano, Tamboti, African Blackwood and Kameeldoring, or you may choose a plain wooden ring.
Their Game Rings are made from various types of horn including buffalo, kudu, waterbuck, oryx and blue wildebeest.
They only sell rings that have been handcrafted by themselves. Each item is hand crafted individually according to the specifications and requirements of the customer, and includes a one year warranty on the stainless steel work.
Also available from WoodDo are elegant and stylish men’s and lady’s wood watches.
Awie and Martie’s business ethic is based on their faith, which results in social and environmental responsibility, honesty and hard work and accountability. They use a variety of sourced natural materials and engineered materials and strive to create high quality products.
They cherish the part they play in helping you create your memories with a unique ring on your finger that tells your story.
