Set on the picturesque East Coast, Ironwood Barn offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and elegant sophistication. Originally built in 1992 as a hay barn on our family farm—formerly known as Mimosa—this timeless structure has transformed into a refined venue filled with character and warmth.
The barn has been the heart of many cherished family events, from birthdays and New Year’s Eve celebrations to the first wedding on 2 December 2017, where Ironwood Barn officially began its journey as a venue. Today, it offers manicured gardens, sweeping views, and idyllic photo spots to capture your most treasured moments—often with a friendly cow or peacock adding a whimsical touch.
Guests enjoy exclusive use of our charming Forest Chapel or Garden-style undercover Chapel, a stylish cigar lounge for the groom’s party, and a luxurious bridal suite with hair and makeup stations. We also offer in-house décor, catering, florist, stationery, and signage services to simplify your planning.
Relax with canapés in our scenic garden area or enjoy an unforgettable evening celebration in the elegant barn space. Our venue seats: Ironwood Barn seats from 20 up to 200 guests for both ceremony and reception. A canapé garden area is available for pre-reception gatherings.
We can accommodate for the ceremony: Select from two picturesque ceremony spaces: the tranquil Forest Chapel or undercover Garden Chapel nestled in lush surroundings, both with beautiful countryside views.
Overnight accommodation: We offer three fully equipped self-catering guest rooms and a luxurious honeymoon suite fitted with a jacuzzi. Each includes linen, towels, and a coffee station.
Food is served: Our in-house catering offers a range of menu options, from light canapés to decadent desserts.
Liquor Licence: Licensed bar facilities are available.
Rain back-up plan for outdoor location: Our semi-open Church Chapel offers a sheltered, elegant alternative for rainy days.
