About the Venue
Eagle’s Cry Wedding & Function venue rests just beyond Tongaat, conveniently close to central Ballito, boasting exquisite vistas from its magnificent deck. Nestled within a charming landscaped garden on the North Coast, our venue treats you to a breathtaking African sunset over the Dudley Pringle Dam, accompanied by the melodic cry of nesting Fish Eagles. Offering not just a distinctive but an impeccable setting, our venue ensures an unforgettable experience. Situated a mere 10-minute drive from the new King Shaka Airport and 12 km from some of the finest beaches along the dolphin coast, our location is ideal for both local and international guests.
Our venue goes beyond providing luxurious accommodation with mesmerizing African sunsets. We pride ourselves on offering the finest cuisine crafted by our skilled Gourmet Pastry Chef, Penny, who not only creates exquisite wedding cakes but also serves as our head chef. Additionally, the abundance of birdlife adds to the allure, drawing you closer to nature with each moment.

Overnight accommodation: Eagles Cry Wedding Venue provides accommodation options for either the bridal party or guests attending the wedding. Our offerings include:
The Honeymoon Suite, complimentary for the bride and groom on the night of their wedding, included in our wedding package.
An additional Bed and Breakfast room accommodating 2 guests, featuring an en suite bathroom.
A self-catering cottage accommodating up to 5 guests. This cottage comprises 2 bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with a double and a single bed. It also features an open-plan lounge/kitchen area and a spacious bathroom with a large bath and shower.
A second self-catering cottage accommodating up to 7 guests. This cottage consists of 2 rooms: one bedroom with a double bed, another bedroom with a single bed, and a double bunk bed and an additional single bed in the lounge area. It offers an open-plan lounge and kitchen, along with a bathroom equipped with a shower.
Both cottages boast private gardens and excellent security measures, including alarms, beams, and security gates. In total, we can accommodate up to 16 guests on our property per night.
Food is served: Our Menu includes a variety of choices including the “traditional braai” option.
