Calderwood Hall

Wedding venue Calderwood Hall

Come and relax in the calm ambience of Calderwood Hall Edwardian Guest House nestled in the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg mountain in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.

The Edwardian Calderwood Hall Manor is the ideal backdrop for your wedding.

Our pretty and tranquil thatched stained glass chapel seats 150 guests. As an alternative to the chapel, you can use the forest next to the dam or even the arbour in the front garden.

Our inviting Jardine Function Centre seats 250 guests comfortably whilst still allowing for a dance floor. Two large five metre stack-back doors lead onto a walkway with another set leading off the venue onto a large outdoor verandah area overlooking the beautiful view.

Our accommodation has been graded as AA Highly Recommended and we can sleep up to 70 guests on the estate.

Our Manor House has five oversized luxury en-suite bedrooms, all exquisitely themed for guests to enjoy the unique character of each. There is the Victorian suite, the Chinese suite, the Egyptian suite, the Indian suite and the Bridal suite (the ultimate in romantic relaxation).

Our Guest House is surrounded by beautiful gardens with a gazebo and ornamental fountain, dams and forests. Set in the gardens are a further 23 en-suite garden rooms.

We’d love for you to come and take a look!

You can spend time exploring the estate, the venues, the chapel and really get a sense of what it would be like to celebrate this very special occasion with us. For more information visit www.calderwood.co.za or email wade@calderwood.co.za
