About
Jana van der Walt began her music tuition at the age of 6 and began playing the harp aged 11, it was a match made in heaven. Her orchestral experience and talent has seen her awarded a number of trophies, as well as being able to perform in some of the most renowned concert halls in Europe. This would include her appearances at Berliner Philharmonie, Royal Palace in Stockholm, Amsterdam's Concertgebouw and the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie. HarpNOTED was founded in 2013 and has become the vehicle by which Jana pursues her solo and ensemble performances. Musical styles from solo to contemporary are performed. HarpNOTED know the importance of putting the client's needs first and this is why they work together closely in order to present a performance that is suitable for the setting.

HarpNOTED is a Cape Town-based harpist performer. The company was established in 2013 by accomplished musician and harpist, Jana van der Walt. Their range of services include solo, duet/trio/quartet as well as live band performances. She will customise her ensemble options and music styles in order suit the client's needs and requirements to create a timeless and tranquil atmosphere.
Power source for load shedding:
harpNOTED is an acoustic group which usually does not required any electricity. We do not have an alternative power source if need be.
